Sugar Free Orange Sherbet

0 Flares Filament.io 0 Flares ×

My Sugar Free Orange Sherbet is so good, they’ll take you back to childhood - and you won’t miss the carbs! Of course, they also contain tons of healthy ingredients that my 4-year old doesn’t even notice!

Sugar Free Orange Sherbet
{THM:S, Low Carb, Keto, Dairy-Free, Sugar Free}

Although I don't miss many foods on Keto (it is, after all, a lifestyle!) but the taste of citrus is one that I do g a craving for occasionally.

Since it's summer, I just HAD to whip up some Sugar Free Orange Sherbet to satisfy my craving!

My Sugar Free Orange Sherbet is so good, they’ll take you back to childhood – and you won’t miss the carbs!

Of course, they also contain tons of healthy ingredients that my 4-year old doesn’t even notice!

I used macadamia nut milk and coconut milk in this recipe to make it Dairy-Free, but you could very easily substitute another nut milk for the macadamia nut milk:

  • Almond Milk
  • Hemp Milk

And for the coconut milk, you could substitute:

  • Coconut Cream
  • Heavy Cream
  • Half and Half

The substitutions are pretty much endless!

Here’s what you’ll need to make Keto Dreamsicles:

  • 2 cups Full-Fat Coconut Milk
  • 2 cups Macadamia Nut Milk
  • 1 T Orange Extract
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 2 T Stevia Glycerite (or a bit more, to taste)
  • 3 drops yellow food coloring + 1 drop red food coloring (optional, for color only)
  • ½ tsp. Sea Salt

Directions:

Combine all ingredients, blend if necessary.

Pour into ice cream maker and freezer according to ice cream maker directions.  Enjoy!

Hi, your recipe looks super yummy, but I don’t have an ice maker, will be enough with just a blender?

    Thank you.

You can, but it wouldn’t be considered Keto or sugar free.
