The Best Keto Turkey Chili
I'll be honest – I'm not a huge fan of turkey in any form.
Some swear by turkey for it's macros, love a thanksgiving turkey, and like turkey lunch meat.
But me, not so much.
However, when it comes to macros, turkey is SUPER friendly if you're trying to hit a high protein macro, or don't have a lot of fat left for the day.
But when you add turkey to chili, I find I actually REALLY like it.
Tons of flavor, veggies, and of course toppings of cheese, sour cream and guacamole if you want and my macros and mouth are happy with Keto Turkey Chili.
Now that the weather is turning cooler, it's soup season & I'm excited to share my recipe for Keto Turkey Chili with you!

How To Make Keto Turkey Chili
Start by browning your turkey in a large stock pot with the diced green pepper and onion.
Drain off excess fat, then add in remaining ingredients.
Simmer until warm and ready to eat – as always, chili is even better the longer it simmers or the next day!
Keto Turkey Chili FAQ's
Are Beans Keto?
I included a small amount of beans in my keto turkey chili recipe for a bit more fat and fiber. Beans' high fiber content makes their net carbs fairly low, which can easily fit into keto macros. If you don't include beans in your ketogenic diet, feel free to leave them out – the chili will still be delicious! And remember, there are no “keto” food. There is just food, and some foods fit better into keto macros than others do 🙂
How do I store Keto Turkey Chili?
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Freeze in souper cubes or ziploc freezer bags for up to 2 months. Keto Turkey Chili makes an excellent easy dinner!
Can I Make This Recipe in A Slow Cooker?
To make in a slow cooker, reduce the water to 1/2 cup, and be sure to brown the turkey, onion, and green peppers before adding to the slow cooker. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 7–8 hours

Notes
Taco Seasoning: I always gravitate toward paleo options for seasoning mixes, namely Siete or Primal Palate. You can also make your own, or use a store-bran taco seasoning mix. As always, season to taste and don't use the whole packet if it's too spicy for you!
Storage Notes: Chili is always better the day or week after. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Freeze in bags or in souper cubes in the freezer for up to 2 months. I have also pressure canned this recipe.
