Keto Chili
{Low Carb, THM:S, Ketogenic, Grain Free, Sugar Free}
The best Keto Chili, packed with loads of healthy fats from grass-fed ground beef, vegetables, and of course that classic chili flavor with no beans! We have completely replaced our old chili with Keto Chili and love it.
Every year, when the temps start to fall, I do a few very specific things: I pack up my shorts and tank tops, unpack my sweaters and jeans, and I get out BOTH of my slow cookers, anxiously waiting for it to get cool enough for chili.
My slow cookers aren't fancy, really my only requirement was that it was easy to program and had clips to hold down the lids.
And they were only about $30 each.
My recipe for Keto Chili is actually pretty simple. I took the recipe I grew up with, pumped up the protein, subtracted the beans and any added sugars (in the canned tomatoes), and added extra veggies.
The result is a hearty and delicious chili that won't let you miss beans.
Ingredients for Keto Chili
Grass-Fed Ground Beef {I used ButcherBox}
Red, Yellow, Green Bell Peppers
Onion
Garlic
Water
Primal Palate Taco Seasoning
Primal Palate Ranch Seasoning
Salt
Pepper
Canned Tomatoes with Chiles
Canned Diced Tomatoes
That's it! I find soups are best with simple ingredients, left to simmer all day for the best flavors.

Keto Chili

Ingredients
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 1 Yellow Onion, chopped
- 1 Yellow Bell Pepper, chopped
- 1 Orange Bell Pepper, chopped
- 1 Green Pepper, Chopped
- 1 small can Tomato Paste
- 1 can diced Tomatoes
- 3 T Primal Palate Taco Seasoning
- 1 tsp. Cumin
- 1 tsp. Chili Powder
- 3 T Primal Palate Ranch Seasoning
- 1 cups Water, divided
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
Instructions
- Add the ground beef to a large stock pot with the diced onion and brown until the fat is rendered.
- Drain the beef, then add the remaining ingredients to the stock pot, stir to combine and simmer at least 2 hours.
- If using a slow cooker, add the browned ground beef to your slow cooker, along with the remaining ingredients, stir to combine, and set on low for at least 4 hours.
