Keto Copycat Chick Fil A Sauce
{Low Carb, Ketogenic, THM:S, Sugar Free, Gluten Free}
The legendary Chick Fil A Sauce is truly addictive. My Keto Copycat Chick Fil A Sauce is a dupe for the original, but in sugar-free, ketogenic form. You’re going to love this stuff!
The closest Chick Fil A to where I live is nearly 25 minutes away.
So with that being said, I hadn’t had Chick Fil A until a couple of month ago when I discovered there was one a mere 2 minutes away from the St. Louis IKEA store.
I’ve always had mad envy of those that had a Chick Fil A near their regular driving route, but I didn’t truly understand the obsession until I get my hands on some of that awesome Chick Fil A Sauce to go with my grilled nuggets.
Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that it had 6 carbs per packet, which can fit my macros on occasion, but let’s be honest:
Once you’ve had Chick Fil A Sauce, you ALWAYS want Chick Fil A Sauce.
Beside the obvious swap of switching the sugar in the sauce for Lakanto Powdered Sweetener, I made another swap that I feel I need to talk about.
Instead of using regular mayonnaise, I used Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil Mayo.
Ever since starting my Functional Medicine journey, I’ve been making small nutrition changes one at a time.
One of the biggest ones was getting rid of all inflammatory oils such as:
- Soybean oil
- Canola Oil
- Vegetable Oil
- Corn Oil
- Grapeseed Oil
- And more!
Instead, I’ve been using oils high in nutrition and anti-inflammatory properties:
- Avocado Oil
- Coconut Oil
- Olive Oil
- And other nut oils
So when it comes it mayo in sauces, chicken salad, Yum-Yum Sauce, and in Keto Sushi Bowls, it is super important to use a high-quality Ketogenic Mayo such as Sir Kensington’s Avocado Oil Mayo, Primal Kitchen Mayo, or Chosen Foods Avocado Oil Mayo.
If you want to dive deeper into the how and why of what oils and mayo to choose, check out the full article i wrote HERE.
But back to this sauce….
