The Best Keto Brownies
{Ketogenic, Low Carb, THM:S, Sugar Free, Grain Free, Gluten Free}
These are the most delicious Keto Brownies. With a fudgy texture and fantastic macros, these brownies are easy enough to make that you’ll want to keep the recipe in your dessert rotation.
When you think of late night food cravings, what your mind wander to?
Mine goes to warm and gooey brownies with cool vanilla bean ice cream on top. Of course, I’m also partial to the corners, with their chewy texture, while still having a melty fudge center.
I’ve never published a keto brownie recipe on Fit Mom Journey because, quite frankly, I’ve never made any of my own or from another website that were good enough to publish.
If you’re looking for a fantastic Keto Brownie mix, check out Lakanto’s Brownie Mix.
But if you want to make your own brownies from scratch with a super easy recipe, my recipe for Keto Brownies is the way to go.
These keto brownies aren’t dry, grainey, and they don’t have a weird aftertaste.
What they DO have is a fudge-like consistency, a delicious chocolatey taste, and chocolate chips in the batter to add an extra punch of chocolate!
The ingredients in my Keto Brownies are pretty much staples in a Keto kitchen, but you’ll have to be careful not to overbake them!
You’ll take these brownies out of the oven before they look done, then let them cool in the pan. They will set up as they cool, and will stay fudgey for days.
If you’re not against eating raw eggs, the batter is also pretty darn good!
Also worth noting: I have a Keto CARAMEL Brownies variation of this recipe in the works, so stay tuned for that!
Finally, don’t skip the chocolate drizzle on top. I know there’s a lot of chocolate going on in these Keto Brownies already, but the chocolate drizzle really elevates them to the next level.
I used 1 melted Lakanto Chocolate Bar for the drizzle, which melts perfectly for this purpose!
Are you ready to bake?
Here’s what you’ll need for Keto Brownies:
Lakanto Granluated Sweetener
Cocoa Powder
Almond Flour
Lupin Flour
Psyllium Husk
Baking Soda
Sea Salt
Pure Stevia Extract
Melted Butter
Eggs
Vanilla Extract
Lily's Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9×9 baking dish, or line with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and Lakanto Sweetener. Mix in the eggs, stevia, and vanilla extract.
Dump the cocoa powder, almond flour, lupin flour, psyllium husk, baking soda, and sea salt on top, then mix together until JUST combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips, then bake at 350 for 12 minutes – do NOT bake any longer than 12 minutes.
Take the brownies out of the oven and let them cool 15-20 minutes before slicing and removing from the pan. Brownies should only be slightly warm to the touch when you do this.
Enjoy!

I’ve never heard of Lupin Flour?? What can I use instead?
Thank you.
Gretchen Lindow says
You can get Lupin Flour on Amazon here: https://amzn.to/2tOdNPn Do not substitute this ingredient.

You can even get it at Walmart now … much cheaper, too!

Many Walmarts do not have it yet, unfortunately. Mine is one of them, but if yours has it, that’s awesome!

I made these delicious Keto Brownies this morning because I really needed them and finally had all the ingredients. OMG, they are absolutely wonderful, the best brownie recipe I have tried since going low carb. I did not drizzle melted chocolate on top….I actually forgot. But with the chips, I really don’t think it was needed. Thank you so very, very much. My husband loves them, too. That means I will have to share!
Gretchen Lindow says
Ahhhh I’m sooo glad! Thank you for sharing
Lisa Wilson says
Can you just use lupin flour without having to use almond flour at all?
Gretchen Lindow says
I wouldn’t, but you could convert the almond flour to coconut flour. Generally you’ll want to use 1/4 the amount of coconut flour as almond flour. I haven’t tried it that way, so I can’t be sure how it will turn out.
