Typically, I view peppermint as a holiday flavor. Candy canes, peppermint bark, peppermint brownies, and more just scream Christmas to me.
But this year, I find myself still wanting peppermint desserts in the new year.
And I believe Keto Peppermint Pie is the perfect Valentine's Day dessert.
Keto Peppermint Pie Ingredients
Butter, Softened
Almond Butter, no sugar added

Cocoa Powder
Almond Flour {I used this brand}
Heavy Cream
Cream of Tartar
Powdered Monkfruit Sweetener
Cream Cheese
Red Food coloring (if desired. or natural alternative)
Vanilla Extract
Peppermint Extract
Crushed sugar free peppermints, for garnish if desired.

How To Make Keto Peppermint Pie
Mix together the crust ingredients and press into pie pan. Place in refrigerator to set.
Cream together powdered monkfruit and softened cream cheese. Add in the food coloring, vanilla extract, and peppermint extracts.
Pour in the heavy cream and whip until the mixture has doubled in size.
Spread into prepared chocolate crust.
In a new bowl, whip heavy cream, sweetener, and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form, then spread over peppermint filling.
Garnish with crushed sugar free peppermints, if desired.
Chill until ready to serve.
How to Store Keto Peppermint Pie
It's unlikely you'll have any Keto Peppermint Pie left over, but if you do, here's how to store it:
Cover gently in plastic wrap to keep the whipped cream topping fresh and store for up to 3 days.
Unfortunately, this pie does not freeze well.

- For the crust:
- 1/2 cup Butter, Softened
- 1/3 cup Almond Butter, no sugar added
- 1/2 cup Powdered Lakanto Sweetener {save 20% with my link and code "fitmomjourney"}
- 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
- 3/4 cup Almond Flour {I used this brand}
- For the filling
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 3/4 cup Powdered Monkfruit Sweetener
- 2 - 8oz blocks Cream Cheese, softened
- 10 drops Red Food coloring (if desired. or natural alternative)
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp. Peppermint Extract
- Crushed sugar free peppermints, for garnish if desired.
- For The Whipped Cream Topping
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 tsp. Cream of Tartar
- 1/4 cup Powdered Monkfruit Sweetener
Instructions
- Mix together the crust ingredients and press into pie pan. Place in refrigerator to set.
- Cream together powdered monkfruit and softened cream cheese. Add in the food coloring, vanilla extract, and peppermint extracts.
- Pour in the heavy cream and whip until the mixture has doubled in size.
- Spread into prepared chocolate crust.
- In a new bowl, whip heavy cream, sweetener, and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form, then spread over peppermint filling.
- Garnish with crushed sugar free peppermints, if desired.
- Chill until ready to serve.
