Keto Sesame Chicken
P.F. Chang's and Panda Express are just a couple of the restaurants that americanized (is that a word?) Asian food – and Sesame Chicken is one of their signatures.
You've probably had it: crispy chicken pieces tossed in a tangy sweet sauce?
I know it's one of our family's favorites, and I think my low carb, paleo, ketogenic version is just as good!

How Do You Make Keto Sesame Chicken?
The procedure for making Keto Sesame Chicken doesn't vary too much from what a non-keto recipes would look like.
First, you'll cut your chicken into 1-inch pieces.
Then, you'll coat first in Coconut flour, then beaten eggs, then almond flour or pork dust.
Those pieces will then be air fried (or fried) until crispy and cooked through.
While the chicken pieces cook, whisk together the sauce ingredients.
Coat the cooked chicken pieces you'll be eating right away in the sesame sauce.
Any chicken you are storing for later should be kept separate from the sauce, re-crisped in the air fryer, then coated when it's time to eat.
Ingredients for Keto Sesame Chicken
I like to use chicken breasts for this recipe, but it will also work with chicken thighs or tenders. I use ButcherBox chicken almost exclusively, since I trust their product, and love the convenience of having it delivered right to my doorstep.
The sauce is made from allulose, coconut aminos, fish sauce, sesame oil, paleo ketchup, salt, garlic, rice vinegar, green onion, xanthan gum, and pepper. The sauce can be made in advance or the day of – it stores well in the refrigerator and will keep for up to 2 weeks.

I cook the chicken at 425 for about 10 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165.
You could also fry the pieces in a skillet using oil that is 350 degrees.
I like to serve my Keto Sesame Chicken over cauliflower rice, or with sauteed cabbage. It also presents well when sprinkled with green onions and sesame seeds.
