Easy Keto Asian Salad
{THM:S, LCHF, Keto, Paleo, Whole30, Dairy-Free}
My Easy Keto Asian salad comes together in 5 minutes, is a THM:S fuel, ketogenic, LCHF, Paleo, Whole30 and Dairy Free – also it's delicious!
I'll bet somewhere in the back of your mind, you have a running list of quick & tasty meals that you can throw together in less than 5 minutes, that you almost always have the ingredients for in your fridge, and that easily fit you macros or diet.
I have a list like that too.
It lurks in the back of my mind and only comes to the front in a pinch, but it's there all the same.
This Easy Asian Salad is one of those recipes that:
- I almost always have the ingredients for
- First my Keto macros
- Is also Whole30 and Paleo, & a THM:S Fuel
- Comes together in less than 5 minutes
- Also takes great!
One of my pet peeves with salad, is that when packed in a lunch, they go soggy or you have to pack the dressing separately.
Annoying.
The whole point of easy meals is to maximize convenience, so I'll pass.
But this salad holds up to being dressed before being packed for a work lunch, or is delicious made 5 minutes before eating. It's easy!
To keep it Whole30, Paleo, and Dairy-Free, I used Primal Kitchen Ginger Sesame Dressing. To this dressing I added some Stevia Glycerite, simply because I like my Asian-inspired dressings, but you absolutely do not need to if your sweet tooth isn't as rage-ey as mine is.
A couple of tips for convenience:
Buy the Primal Kitchen Dressing; you can absolutely make your own buy their dressing is awesome and you don't have to make it.
Sub pre-shredded lettuce and cabbage: Instead of taking the time to cut your own, (ok, it doesn't take THAT long) buy pre-shredded greens. No judgement. When you're pressed for time, every minute counts!
Keep pre-cooked chicken in the freezer: When it's grilling season, I like to grill up TONS of chicken (marinaded and plain) toss it in bags, and then keep it in the freezer for easy meals. There are pre-cooked grilled chicken strips you can buy, you can cook your own fresh, or you can use my method.
Here's what you'll need:
2 cups Shredded Cabbage
1 cup Shredded Romaine
1 oz Slivered Almonds
1/4 cup Primal Kitchen Sesame Ginger Dressing
3 drops Stevia Glycerite (optional)
4 oz Grilled Chicken
Directions:
Toss everything together – it's that easy!
Ok, so macros:
