We all have memories of Christmas, be they good or bad. Hopefully, your memories are good, as mine are! Christmas was always a lot of fun for our family. It brought everyone together, and the food was phenomenal. Even though we’ve almost all grown, moved away, and started our own families, there are some Christmas traditions that I really kind of miss. One of them is receiving tins of traditional, homemade cookies from my Great Grandma.
I completely and totally have a holiday baking supplies addiction. Especially when they go on clearance AFTER Christmas. I mean, what’s not to love about 25-cent sugar decorations, 50-cent food gift bags, cupcake liners, cookie topper, sprinkles, and more?? That 75% off rack just calls to me!
I am most definitely a bargain shopper. I base my meals/meal plan off of what produce is on sale, we raise our own pork, and we purchase chicken and beef in bulk. Plus, if you think ahead and put together an extra meal, you can throw it in the freezer for a quick meal in a week or two.

It wasn’t a big deal at first. We hired a contractor to do the job, but then the contractor didn’t show. Then showed… Read More
Today, as I write this, it’s November 4th, which is basically Christmas. My husband disagrees. I’m all “let’s put up the tree” and “where is that wreath?” and “make all the candy!!!” but my husband is NOT having it.
I’ve been tinkering in the kitchen! A few month ago, this would have been the norm, but these last couple of months have been challenging, to say the least.
