How To Make Keto Honey Garlic Chicken
Step 1: Make the Keto Honey Garlic Sauce
Make the sauce for this dish by whisking together the Allulose (or honey for paleo), Water, Rice Vinegar, Coconut Aminos, Salt, and Cayenne.
Add the mixture to a medium sauce pan, and heat it over medium until it comes to a boil.
Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes, until it thickens slightly.
Set aside to cool. The keto honey carlic sauce will thicken as it cools.
Step 2: Char the Peppers
Add the peppers to the already hot skillet over medium-high heat, with 1-2 Tbsp. of Avocado or Olive Oil.
Sear on both sides until the peppers are charred. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: The Chicken
Cut thawed chicken breast into evenly sized pieces. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Add the chicken to a skillet, heated over medium-high heat with 2 Tbsp. of Avocado or Olive oil.
Fry the chicken on both sides until golden brown and heated to 165.
Step 4: Add the sauce.
Turn the heat down to medium-low, then add the keto honey garlic sauce to the skillet with the chicken.
Step 5: Add Veggies & Assemble!
If desired, prepare steamed broccoli and cauliflower rice, then serve with the charred peppers and Keto Honey Garlic Chicken
I've made my Keto Honey Garlic chicken twice already this week, and it's a huge hit with my husband and daughter!
