Keto Fry Sauce
Fry sauce is iconic.
It was first developed in Utah, I believe, but quickly spread to other parts of the country, under other names.
I first encountered Fry Sauce at Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steak Burgers, under the name Freddy's Sauce.
Many fast food joints have developed their own version of fry sauce, and nearly all of them have a cult following – and for good reason!
Fry sauce adds so much flavor to fries, burgers and more – and is the perfect “goes with everything” sauce that comes together in under 5 minutes.
My favorite low carb french fry substitute is definitely Turnip Fries – so delish!
Keto Fry Sauce Ingredients
Mayonnaise: I used homemade avocado oil mayo for my version. Avocado oil is perfect for mayo because it is virtually tasteless and emulsifies just like olive oil. Olive oil is a good, although more potent, option if you're making your own mayo as well. If not, try Primal Kitchen or Chosen Foods prepared mayo – and avoid anything with canola or soybean oil like the plague!
Ketchup: for just the right amount of Fry Sauce Color! I used Primal Kitchen, but Tessemaes is also a great option. There are a bunch of great paleo & keto options HERE.
Worcestershire Sauce: Adds color and loads of flavor to the sauce! A little bit goes a long way!
Pickle Juice: Essential for thinning the sauce and adding tangy flavor.
Paprika: a bit of heat and color dimension.
Cayenne: heat, but with more layers. Also color dimension.
Sweetener: Well, this adds sweetness…. A little bit goes a long way. I used Allulose, but Lakanto Sweeteners are a great option too.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Mayonnaise (Avocado or Olive Oil)
- 1/4 cup Paleo Ketchup
- 1 T Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 T Pickle Juice
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 2 T Allulose (or sweetener of choice, to taste)
Instructions
- You're going to love this: mix all the ingredients and let sit for 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
- That's it - you're done!
