Homemade Seasoned Salt Recipe
Today's recipe is very, very simple – but it is foundational to any paleo or keto kitchen, in my opinion.
For years, I did not keep seasoned salt on hand because I was avoiding excess salt content.
But then The Salt Fix changed all that and salting my food became foundational to my nutrition.
However, most seasoned salts on the store shelves contain less than ideal ingredients such as sugars, maltodextrin, and other fillers.
Those ingredients are not a part of my way of eating (and I would argue they shouldn't be a part of yours either).
Slowly but surely, I started experimenting with herbs and spices that were both anti-inflammatory, clean, and delicious.
The recipe I've landed on today contains many trace minerals, beneficial herbs, and is anti-inflammatory due to it's turmeric content.

Ingredients for Homemade Seasoned Salt Recipe
Celtic Sea Salt (great source of trace minerals and vital daily sodium contents)
Onion Powder
Coriander
Black Pepper
Mustard
Turmeric
Paprika
Celery Seed (or Celery Salt, just reduce Sea Salt by 1/2 celery salt volume)
Parsley

Do I need to use Organic Ingredients?
That is truly up to you! Most of the ingredients I have linked above and in the recipe card are organic, because they tend to have been produced with more sustainable farming practices, are free of pesticides, and often are even tested for heavy metals.
However, Organic seasonings are expensive, and if they're just not in the budget, that's totally ok!
