Keto Chicken Taquitos
{Low Carb, Ketogenic, THM:S}
Easy, homemade Keto Chicken Taquitos made with shredded chicken, fresh salsa, and cheddar cheese rolled in a low carb tortilla and baked until crispy.
Keto Chicken Taquitos
When I need a quick and easy lunch recipe for all week, I turn to these Keto Chicken Taquitos.
Typically, I make these using slightly processed ingredients because they were born from a need to make something simple to eat.
However, there are LOTS of alternatives to make these Keto Chicken Taquitos grain free, or just “cleaner.”
Can Keto Chicken Taquitos Be Prepared Ahead of Time?
Besides being great finger foods, Keto Chicken Taquitos are a great meal to prep ahead of time and freeze!
They can either be prepared by placing the filling in the tortillas, rolling and freezing before baking.
OR, you can bake them completely and then freeze for reheating.
Both work well, and you can use whatever method works best for you and your family.
To reheat, cover the baking dish with tinfoil and bake at 350 for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until tortillas brown.
What to serve Keto Chicken Taquitos With?
To make these a full meal, we often serve these with Keto Cilantro Lime Rice as our vegetable.
But we also like dipping sauces!
Some of our favorites:
- Restaurant Style Salsa
- Verde Salsa
- Avocado Ranch
- Sour Cream
- Guacamole
- Ranch Dressing
- Jalapeno Cilantro dipping sauce

Low Carb Tortillas: lots of brand option HERE. If you prefer paleo tortillas, you can find options HERE.
Chicken: cooked and shredded. I enjoy using ButcherBox chicken breasts for their better nutrition profile and the fact that they come from regenerative farms.
Shredded Cheddar Cheese: you could instead sub your favorite type of shredded cheese, but we prefer the bite of a shredded cheddar or sharp cheddar.
Salsa: your favorite brand – any kind will do!
Cream Cheese: sour cream or plain greek yogurt will work.
Spices: Salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder
