Keto Cream Cheese Pancakes
(THM:S, Low Carb, Ketogenic)
Are you ready for a pancake recipe that is going to completely elevate your weekend breakfast?
I have looked high and low for a pancake recipe that tastes truly decant, and I've finally created one that is just that!
A thin pancake, that is closer to a crepe than fluffy gluten-packed panckes, these pancakes are so delectable you won't miss the old ones.
I like them topped with a bit of powdered Swerve and ChocZero Maple Pecan Syrup, but there are so many toppings you could use on these Keto Cream Cheese Pancakes:
- Low Carb Fruit: Raspberries, Blackberries, Strawberries
- ChocZero Maple Pecan Syrup
- Low Carb Chocolate Syrup: This is my pick
- More Low Carb Nuts: Chopped Macadamias, Pecans, Walnuts, Almonds
- Butter!
- Fried Eggs: With running yolks, this combination of sweet and savory is delicious!
- THM Whipped Cream: Get the recipe here!
- Lily's Chocolate Chips: great on top OR IN the Maple Pecan Pancakes
And they're basically the world's easiest pancakes. If you've started converting your kitchen to keto, you probably already have all of these ingredients on hand. And then you literally throw everything in a bowl and then fry them up in butter.
If you follow me on Instagram, then you know how much I despise eggs in the morning. I know they're good for me and all – and my body adores them – but the thought of eggs in the morning just turns my stomach.
These pancakes however, I can DEVOUR.
Here's what you'll need:
1/4 cup Melted Butter
4 oz full-fat Cream Cheese, softened
1/4 cup Heavy Cream
1/4 cup Swerve
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
3 Eggs
3/4 cup Almond Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Grease a hot skillet with more grass-fed butter, then use the batter to make about 7 pancakes.
Top with sugar-free maple syrup, peanut butter, or whatever keto topping you choose!

Does this recipe use granulated or confectioners’ swerve?
Nicole Howie says
I used confectioners but I was actually wondering the same thing
Gretchen Lindow says
granulated, but confectioner’s will work as well, just use about half the amount
Gretchen Lindow says
Granulated
Tammy says
These are delicious. Super thin and hard to turn/flip. I had to use two spatulas. Also, my cream cheese pancakes did not turn out as pretty as yours. All the same, delicious.
Thank you for sharing.

Samantha says
The pancakes are delicious but very hard to flip it’s as though you can only make Silver dollar pancakes.
Lisa Cowan says
i found that adding butter to the skillet made it too greasy so I omitted that step. They are hard to turn but making them smaller helps.
Really easy and good tasting!

Love these! A couple of things will help with the flipping: add a little baking soda to the batter and let the batter sit a few minutes before cooking and be patient while cooking! Don’t use a really hot skillet and let the pancake slow cook. This gives it a chance to cook through more making it easier to flip
Gretchen Lindow says
So glad you liked them! They are a bit hard to flip, but thanks for the helpful solutions!
Jennifer says
Thanks for the tip do I know how many pancakes per serving
Patti says
Best keto pancakes we have tried. Loved them!
Marcia says
I loved these. I put a few blueberries in each pancake!
Gretchen Lindow says
What a great idea!

I put your recipe into the Carb Manager App and it’s saying they have 10 grams of carbs per serving?! That doesn’t see right. Any helpful tips?
Gretchen Lindow says
I’m not super familiar with Carb Manager, but I’m guessing it is showing 10g total carbohydrates. You’ll want to only count net carbs, which is Total Carbohydrates – Fiber.
Shannon says
These were super yummy, but I went to add them in my fitness pal and got way different carb count. I made 12 smaller pancakes and it said 5 net carbs per pancake. I’m wondering if it’s my fitness pal as this has happened a few times, what do you use to calculate your carbs? Tia
Gretchen Lindow says
I use MFP as well, and one thing I’ve noticed is that you have to check and make sure each ingredient has the correct carbs and fiber. Sometimes people don’t enter them correctly, which leaves you with a messed up carb count – so frustrating!
Susan says
Is the batter supposed to be lumpy looking
Gretchen Lindow says
A bit! I have found that mixing them with my blender is the fastest, easiest way
Joy says
Where Can u find sugar free maple syrup? And does it have aspartman it surclose in it..thank u
Gretchen Lindow says
Lakanto has a great tasting maple syrup that is sweetened with monkfruit and erythritol. You can find it here: https://www.lakanto.com/products/lakanto-maple-flavored-syrup-bottle-13-fl-oz?aff=81
Vickie says
Totally agree they are hard to flip so I turned them into muffins. This is a great recipe and a wonderful weekend treat without the guilt..
Michelle says
I added bacon crumbles and maple extract to them…delish!
Gretchen Lindow says
Ok, THAT is genius!
Amanda says
Is there another type of sugar substitute that you can use in place of swerve? What about splenda natural or an organic stevia brand? Swerve is almost $8 for a small bag and these others are cheaper for a big bag. I’m just on a very tight budget.
