Keto Chicken Meatballs with Sweet and Sour Sauce are the perfect family meal. Versatile enough to re-purpose into many different meals, moist, and easy to make, Keto Chicken Meatballs are a staple in our house!
Keto Chicken Meatballs
Is it weird that we eat these Keto Chicken Meatballs more than regular beef meatballs?
Don't get me wrong, we like Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs, but chicken meatballs can hold up to a variety of flavors, from Asian to Italian, and are also budget friendly because they use ground chicken.
What's not to like?
These Keto Chicken Meatballs are made with ground chicken, garlic, ginger, onion, egg, and a bit of almond flour for a perfectly moist, easy to make meatballs.
Oh, and they're
Serve them like I did with Keto Sweet and Sour Sauce, or venture out into other flavors such as Marinara, Alfredo Sauce, Butter Sauce, BBQ Sauce, Vodka Sauce, and more!
The flavor allows them to hold up to both hearty flavors, and not overpower lighter, brighter flavors.
They're also great on Fathead or Chicken Crust pizza for Pizza Friday!
How To Make Keto Chicken Meatballs
Combine all the chicken meatballs ingredients in a bowl and mix.

Scoop with a 1″ cookie scoop for even sizing, and use slightly wet hands to shape into even spheres.

Brown in a hot, oiled skillet, carefully turning with a spoon to coat each side. Then, cover and cook and additional 2-3 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.

While the meatballs cook, prepare the Sweet & Sour sauce by whisking all sauce ingredients together.

Coat the cooked meatballs in the sauce, and serve with broccoli, cauliflower rice, or sauteed cabbage!

Ingredients for Keto Chicken Meatballs with Sweet & Sour Sauce
For The Meatballs:
1.25# Ground Chicken
1 Egg
1/4 cup Almond Flour
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Sea Salt
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
1/4 tsp. Ginger Powder
For The Sweet & Sour Sauce
1/4 cup Rice Vinegar
1/4 cup Tomato Paste
1/4 cup Lakanto Powdered Sweetener
1/2 dropper Sweetleaf Stevia
Dash of Fish Sauce
2 Tbsp. Coconut Aminos
2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp. Ginger Powder
1/4 cup Water
1/4 tsp. Xanthan or Guar Gum
{or if you prefer, Yais Thai makes a great Keto, Paleo Sweet & Sour Sauce}
